MARTA DEL COTO
Marta is a founding partner of LookForLegal and responsible for the Barcelona office.
She has extensive experience in the search and selection of partners and lawyers for national and international law firms, including Big4, as well as General Counsels, VP Legal, and other senior roles in the legal departments of corporate groups, both national and international.
She also works regularly in the search and selection of Compliance Officers and Data Protection Officers for headquarters and/or subsidiaries of multinational groups.
Marta practiced law for more than fifteen years, ten of which in PwC’s Corporate Law department.
During the last five years of her collaboration with the firm, she joined the management team of PwC’s international network of lawyers, working in business development, internal communications and marketing.
Since 2014, she has been working in the search and selection of premium legal talent putting her expertise, previous legal experience and high quality standards at the service of corporate groups, law firms of all kinds and lawyers, all within the context of the search and selection of top legal talent.
Her main objective is always to reconcile the needs, interests and projects of the different operators in the market, clients and candidates, providing them with global advice and accompaniment in all the stages of the selection process.
MARIA BURGOS
María is a founding partner of LookForLegal and responsible for the Madrid office.
She has extensive experience in the search and selection of partners and senior lawyers for national and international law firms and legal directors and senior lawyers for corporate legal departments.
Additionally, she has participated in several search and selection processes for Compliance Officers, as well as Human Resources, Marketing and Communication Managers in top tier law firms.
Previously, María developed a successful professional career as a lawyer specialized in Finance and Banking Law at international law firms of high reputation, such as EY, Ashurst LLP and Allen & Overy LLP, working in the Madrid and London offices.
As a result of her extensive experience at top international law firms, María has been able to incorporate the quality standards learned during her professional career as a lawyer, to the search and selection of legal profiles, understanding the business and the needs of her clients and empathizing with the candidates, knowing first-hand the vicissitudes involved in the development of a professional career as a lawyer in these organizations, all of which generates an important added value in the different selection processes in which she participates.
