Corporate Governance Analyst, with 5+ years PQE. Candidate will be based in Barcelona.
Direct reporting to the group’s Corporate Governance Director.
JOB PURPOSE
The Corporate Governance Analyst will support the group’s Board of Directors and its Committees Secretariat as well as the Group’s Foundation Secretariat.
Moreover, the Corporate Governance Analyst will support the ongoing relationship with CNMV and the preparation and execution of the Shareholders General Meeting.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The position entails the following responsibilities -to be executed either directly and/or through the supervision of an external counsel:
- Involvement in the Shareholders Annual Meeting preparation and execution, including agenda preparation, preparing and making available all required documentation, publications, platforms to allow shareholders to assist and vote remotely, and coordinating the communication channel that attends the shareholders’ requests ahead of the meeting.
- Support the management of the Group’s Board of Directors and its Committees Secretariat, as well as the Group’s Foundation Secretariat, assisting on a broad range of corporate governance matters, including setting agenda, coordinating preparation of documentation to be made available.
- Review and update global corporate policies and website regulated content.
- Handle day-to-day relationship with the CNMV on corporate governance topics, disclosure requirements, etc.
- Execute matters related to public notaries and company registries related to the companies of the Group.
- Provide general advice on a broad range of corporate governance matters.
- Liaise with external advisors
Academic Profile
1. Education
- Master’s degree in law. It would be an advantage if the candidate also has a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A relevant certification (e.g., CCEP, CFE) is preferred.

- Spanish: Advanced/Native (must have)
- English: Advanced/Native (must have)
- Others: Valuable (Intermediate – Advanced)
3. Software tools
- MS Office: Advanced (must have)
- Power Point: Intermediate (must have)
4. Relevant Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, risk management, or a related field.
5. Other relevant skills or characteristics
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software and tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
